Apart from fishing, Nicola considers plants and science two of her great passions in life. She started her career with a B. Hort Science, Hons in nutritional biochemistry and biometrics at Lincoln University. She grew her own herbs and sold them to local garden centres to pay for university. Nicola managed Botannix Garden Centre in NZ for two years and she later went on to live in the USA working for a biological pheromone company, more recently she has spent the past 15 years working for Everris as Regional Sales Manager in New Zealand.
