The Scotts production plant in Heerlen, The Netherlands has achieved the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management. All Australian and New Zealand supplied Osmocote Exact, Osmocote, Agroblen and Sierrablen fertilisers are manufactured in Heerlen. Certification of the site to ISO 14001 is a powerful customer assurance that the products are produced with minimum waste, minimum energy expenditure and minimum environmental risk. The Heerlen plant is also ISO 9001 certified for quality management and OHSAS 18001 certified for occupational health and safety management.
