Avoid calendar spraying, only apply when needed or the need is predicted (e.g. according to seasonal conditions)
- Always follow all label directions, from application to safety and disposal
- Try to use non-chemical measures in combination with pesticides
(e.g. choose resistant turf varieties, use biological controls, use
other IPM compatible options) - Look at safe granule formulations which reduce the risk of non-target damage due to spray drift
