Ficote®

Controlled release fertiliser

Everris recognise that not all applications of controlled release fertiliser require a premium performing product such as Osmocote Exact. Ficote is an economical controlled release fertiliser with performance designed to exceed similarly priced competitor products available on the market. Ficote is recommended where peak performance as would be achieved with Osmocote Exact is not critical.

Ficote contains 10% of uncoated NPK for a fast start, major trace elements are included and Ficote is available in various longevities. Ficote would be beneficial where supplementary liquid feeding is carried out or crop production times are short.

Ficote is ideal for topdressing, the uncoated portion providing quick green up for tired plants.

An extra benefit of Ficote is a small proportion of ‘instant’ release; making Ficote a great topdress when you need one with a 3–4 or up to 12–14 month longevity. If using Ficote in your mix, it can be further enhanced if you add 200g/m3 of Micromax.
