Controlled Release Fertiliser
Everris are synonymous with controlled release technology and experts
in the development of CRF’s.
A controlled release fertiliser is a coated NPK fertiliser controlling the release of the nutrients (N, P & K) for up to 18 months (depending on formulation). Everris’ Osmocote, Agroblen, Forestcote and Sierrablen ranges are CRF’s.
Safer for the environment
– minimal nutrient leaching
Pioneers in the research and development of controlled (coated) release fertiliser
technology, Everris have seen that temperature most closely correlates to plant
growth. So having fertilisers where the only factor controlling nutrient release rates is
temperature means there is minimal wastage. This process allows the plant to take
up the majority of nutrients, leaving little, if any, to be leached.

Everris Tip
The following factors should be balanced when designing a fertiliser program:
- Media components
- N-P-K ratio
- Potential acidity of media
- Individual crop
- Need for secondary and micronutrients
- Other miscellaneous factors
- Growing systems
- Nitrate / ammonium nitrogen balance
